Early access terms · Updated September 29, 2026
Terms of service
These terms describe the current ROOM preview and any early access arranged with us. Please read them before using a workspace. Contact us if you need to agree on different requirements before starting a pilot.
Service operator
Kamau Baaqi operates ROOM, based in Detroit, Michigan, United States. The ROOM website is tryroom.app.
What is available now
You can register, verify your email and create one workspace for a free 14-day evaluation. The evaluation includes up to 3 spaces, 3 team members and 1 location. ROOM provides tools for scheduling, reservations, customer records and staff operations.
ROOM is in early access. Features can change, and some integrations are not enabled. Before relying on ROOM for a live venue, agree on the pilot scope with us and keep a separate copy of important schedules and records. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or a particular support response time during this preview.
Pricing and payments
Browsing the preview and requesting a demo are free. Sending an inquiry or joining early access does not enroll you in a paid subscription, authorize a charge, or automatically convert you to a paid plan. Prices shown on the site describe planned paid offerings.
Live payment collection is not enabled in this preview. Your 14-day evaluation starts when your workspace is created. No payment card is required and there is no automatic charge. Operational access is restricted when the evaluation expires; contact us before expiry to discuss continued access or request your records. A paid service would require a separate, explicit checkout or agreement showing the price, billing period, cancellation terms and any additional fees.
Your account and workspace
You must be at least 18 and authorized to act for any organization you represent. Provide accurate information, protect your sign-in details, grant staff only the access they need, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You remain responsible for the records and content you submit and must have permission to use that information.
Venue operators remain responsible for their spaces, services, customer safety, taxes, licenses, booking policies and fulfillment. A booking with a venue is between the customer and that venue. Contact the venue first about its availability, booking changes or services.
Acceptable use
Users may not use ROOM for unlawful activity, fraud, prohibited goods or services, unauthorized access, abuse of customers, or interference with platform security.
Ending access and your records
You can stop using ROOM and email us to close your account or request an export. Workspace members with appropriate access can export booking and customer records from the app. Account closure and deletion requests are reviewed manually; deleting a login alone does not erase a venue's booking records.
We may restrict access to address abuse, security risks or violations of these terms, or end an early-access pilot. Where practical, we will explain the change and coordinate access to your records. Urgent security action may be taken first. Retention and privacy requests are explained in our privacy notice.
Changes and support
We will publish changes to these terms with an updated date and communicate material changes to active pilots. New fees require your explicit agreement. These terms do not limit rights that applicable law does not allow us to limit.
Contact
For demos, account help, privacy requests or a problem with ROOM, contact Kamau Baaqi at hello@tryroom.app. Support is handled by the operator. Do not email passwords, payment card details, API keys or identity documents.
